MISSIONS IN

Malawi

In Malawi, support has been provided to six villages, where preschools were constructed with the assistance of another ministry. Wells have been drilled and chicken coops built in each village as part of the ongoing project. Crestview Baptist Church has been a significant partner in this endeavor.

Furthermore, there are eight additional villages with preschools in need of wells and chicken coops. Efforts are being made to secure funding for these requirements.

This initiative aims to ensure sustainability, as the villages will retain some of the maize produced for use as seed for the following season. This support will aid in the recovery from the unfortunate impact of this year’s flooding on the villages’ agricultural output.

Lesotho

In Lesotho, we collaborate with Touch Me Lord Ministry’s Feeding Outreach, led by Pastor Johan Meiring based in Wepener, South Africa. The ministry focuses on feeding orphans from Lesotho who reside in both the Wepener area and across the border in Lesotho.

Many of these children were brought across the border by parents who had AIDS and have now passed away, leaving the children in a foreign country without access to food, medical aid, or schooling. The ministry provides food through feeding centers in a few locations and also works to obtain legal papers for these children in South Africa, so they can access medical care and education.
